On Friday 10th May SBYC will meet at the usual time of 7:00 p.m but the venue has been changed to Old College Hall – (or perhaps outside if it is fine).

Also on Friday at 7:30 p.m, there is Friends of the Priory Talk by John Knewstubb, “The Road to Damascus,” in  New College Hall (NCH)

On Saturday 11th May the men’s breakfast will be held at 8:00 a.m in NCH. All welcome for a lovely cooked breakfast, fellowship and chat.

Another breakfast is also taking place on Saturday 11th: – The Big Breakfast for Christian Aid. This will be held between 8:00 am and 10:00 am at the Egremont Methodist Church. On offer are fresh bacon butties, eggs pancakes, plus cereal, toast, fruit yogurt and more! The breakfast is provided free and donations are invited which will be collected for Christian Aid. Everyone is welcome – just call in.

You can also donate to  Christian Aid using the envelope provided in your May parish magazine. Please fill as wished and return to the Priory, or place in the wooden collection box on the pillar. This year Christian aid week runs from 12th to 18th May.

Or please hand or deliver to R. McAndrew at South Winds, Outrigg Close, St Bees. CA270AH. Thankyou.  We are no longer able to collect door-to-door.

On Sunday 12th May a strawberry tea will be held in aid of the NSPCC in the Hodgets club (village hall) between 2:00 and 4:00 p.m.

Services for Sunday 12th May are Holy Communion at 9:00 a.m, Morning worship at 10:30 a.m and Evening Prayer at 6:00 p.m.
