Priory Notes

Priory News – 17th February 2019

There are more hints that Spring is on its way with the daffodils beginning to appear!

You may have seen the signs for another road closure in the village that starts on Monday 18th February. Fortunately  – the engineer at Highways Traffic Management has confirmed that there will be no problem with access to the priory:

The closure will start at Barony House going north to the bends and will not affect the Priory entrance – which we can access from the south (Pow Beck bridge).

Programme for the week:

Sunday 17th February: Holy Communion at 9 am, 10:30 am and 6 pm.

During the 10:30 service, the Teens Church Group will meet in the vicarage – all secondary school-age young people are welcome.

Monday 18th and Wednesday 20th February:   Morning Prayer in the Priory at 9.15am.

There is no ladies Bible study this week owing to half term. The pop-in cafe will be running as normal on Thursday 21st.

On Sunday 24th February the Teens Church Group will meet again at 6:30 pm in the vicarage.

A reminder that our parish electoral roll is due for revision this year. All parishoners who are currently on the roll (and obviously all new parishoners) will need to complete a new application form. The forms are available at the rear of the Priory and when completed these can be posted in the sealed box there. A new electoral roll will be produced which will be presented at the Priory APCM and then the data forwarded to the Diocesan office.
